Joseph Real
Senior Associate
ABOUTJoseph Real is a Senior Associate at Morgan Health.
As a member of the Data Science & Research team, Joseph leverages data to understand how we can reduce health care costs while improving quality in the employer-sponsored insurance space using innovative techniques.
Previously, Joseph served as an Epidemiologist at the NYC Department of Mental Health and Hygiene, where he worked on vector-borne diseases and the COVID-19 pandemic response. He also held the position of Senior Associate at Cityblock, leading the analysis of behaviorally informed interventions aimed at increasing member engagement and improving health outcomes at scale. Joseph has co-authored publications in The Journal of Infectious Diseases, Social Science & Medicine, and Vaccine.
Joseph dual-majored in Biology and Public Health at the College of William & Mary and earned his Master of Public Health (MPH) from Columbia University. He is a recipient of the Rudin Scholars in Public Health Award and a Gates Millennium Scholar award.
